It started with a 4 AM rideshare surge. One of our founders, heading from La Jolla to LAX for a 7 AM flight, watched the Uber price jump from $80 to $160 in real time. He took it anyway — and arrived at the airport frazzled, sleep-deprived, and $160 poorer.

Rideshares are unpredictable in price and pickup time. The FlyAway bus no longer runs from San Diego. Amtrak takes 3+ hours. There's simply no good option.
We are two San Diegans who got tired of the same broken experience every frequent traveler complains about. We spent months researching the corridor, talking to hundreds of SD-to-LAX travelers, and building a model that makes premium shuttle service economically viable at a price people will actually pay.
